Four arrests for sexist violence over the weekend (12/06/2017)

During the past week, between Thursday 8 and Saturday 10 June, Local Police Agents of Cartagena made four arrests on issues related to sexist violence.

Last Thursday afternoon agents of the Local Police went to the home of a woman who had been attacked by her partner.

Apparently the assailant had left the house after beating him.

The agents took care of the woman and accompanied her to the hospital to attend to her injuries.

The individual was arrested hours later by the National Police.

On the other hand, on Friday, the arrests of two individuals failed to comply with orders to move away from their respective ex-partners.

The first one took place in the afternoon, at 4:00 p.m., after receiving notice from a woman indicating that the individual who was ordered not to approach her was in front of her house in the Urbanization Mediterraneo shouting expletives loudly she.

The subject was arrested after reading his rights.

That same Friday night the Local Police of Cartagena received a call alerting of a discussion in the street in a street of the Casco Antiguo between a man and a woman.

The Agents approached the place, and after verifying that the man had an order of estrangement of the woman with which it was discussing, that was its ex- pair, proceeded to its arrest.

Finally in the early hours of Friday to Saturday, a 22-year-old boy was arrested for punching a friend of his girlfriend and having left the place.

After the arrest of the subject, the Local Police verified that, in addition, the individual had threatened and vexed his partner continuously through social networks.
