The Four Saints, illuminated efficiently with leds (07/06/2017)

Recently, municipal technicians have carried out various tests of illumination on one of the niches that contain the Four Saints Cartagena (San Leandro, San Fulgencio, Santa Florentina and San Isidoro), located at the confluence of the street that carries its Name with those of Calle Jara and Doctor Tapia Martínez.

The event was supervised by the municipal coordinator of Historical and Archaeological Heritage, Mari Carmen Berrocal, and was attended by a technician from the Directorate General of Cultural Heritage of CARM.

The result of the same was valued as satisfactory, allowing progress in some works that are intended to be completed in the next few days.

It is an initiative developed in a coordinated way between the Sustainable Development area headed by the mayor, José López, and Culture and Heritage, responsibility of Ricardo Segado.

The lighting of the images has been solved through the use of flexible LED on tape, which would remain concealed in the upper part of the interior front of the niche.

The regulation of the width of the tape is contemplated, depending on the result sought.

Thus, the color temperature achieved is slightly warm.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The solution used in this measure affects the line of energy efficiency pursued by the area of Sustainable Development by achieving an illumination that endows the figures of the Carthaginian saints with great prestige, while at the same time promoting a minimum consumption.
