The president of the Central Syndicate of Irrigators of the Tajo Segura Aqueduct, José Manuel Claver Valderas, has since Sunday, June 4, his avenue.

And Transparencia, María José Soler, was held within the activities of the Potato Festival.

Also present were the president of the Neighborhood Council of La Puebla, Jose Manuel Ayaso, and Diego Ortega and Manuel Padín, councilors of the Popular Party and Citizens, respectively.

Thus, in this tenth edition of Potato Day, the activities began at 9.30 am, with a direct sale of potatoes for consumption and, starting at 10.00 am the craft market was opened to the public.

In addition, there was exhibition of varieties of potatoes of the Field of Cartagena and the children's contest and senior of launching of potatoes to the pot, which participated the first mayor.

Finally, starting at 1.30 pm, the traditional tasting of roasted, boiled potatoes and tortilla de patatas began.
