A score of initiatives of the municipal groups go ahead in plenary (02/06/2017)

The debate of the motions that have passed Friday by the full municipal corporation, once exposed the requests and questions of the municipal groups, has been settled with a score of approved motions, many of them unanimously.

The first initiatives, which were presented jointly, augured a quiet session in which a good number of motions have gone forward.

Thus, it has had the support of all the municipal groups to urge the Autonomous Community to the creation of a Unit of Burns in Cartagena, as well as to the construction of a new building annexed to the Conservatory for the creation of a center of integrated studies of Music and dance.

It has also been approved to urge the CARM to go to the Ministry of Public Works for the full public reversal of the AP7, without any tolls, in a way that is free and accessible, and urge the Ministry and ADIF to improve the railway layout, An intermodal station is created in Cartagena and the Cartagena, Murcia, Lorca, Águilas and Alicante suburban lines are urgently set up.

Two other motions of the socialist group with MC adherence have gone ahead, in this case with the favorable votes of all groups and the abstention of Citizens, one of them, so that the government of Spain allows the reinvestment of the municipal surplus of 2016 in The 2017 and 2018 exercises, and the other, supporting the amendments presented to the General State Budgets for 2017 by the PSOE Parliamentary Group regarding the following items: SEPI Navantia Cartagena (15,000,000 euros), Mediterranean Corridor (20,000 Euros) .000 euros), High Speed ​​Line Cartagena (25,000,000 euros), Supersión level crossings.

Pozo Estrecho, Los Mateos and Alumbres (1.000.000 euros), Polígono Industrial Los Camachos (10,000,000 euros), Santa Maria La Vieja Cathedral (2,000,000 euros), Teatro Circo Apolo El Algar (500,000 euros), Rehabilitation of beaches And batteries of coast (15,000,000 euros), Reforestation Cartagena (2,000,000 euros).

Also the initiatives that the groups have presented individually have had the favorable vote of all the groups.

CTSSP has tabled three motions for discussion, all three of which have been approved.

The one that urges the government, after studying economic and technical feasibility of the project, to the installation of fixed chess tables (and other complementary games) in the public parks and gardens of the municipality, has been approved unanimously;

Which calls for the elimination of additional provisions 27 and 35 of the Draft General Budget Law of the State, approved with the votes in favor of CTSSP, MC and PSOE, against PP and abstention of Citizens, and that implies The adoption of preventive measures in response to the demands of the residents of El Llano del Beal in front of the polluting waste, with the votes in favor of PP, Citizens and CTSSP, and against MC and PSOE, since, Councilor for Education, David Martinez, the measures that are requested regarding the local school are already under way.

Citizen initiatives, on the accession of the City of Cartagena to the World Network of Cities and Communities Friendly with the elderly, on the one hand, and on measures to encourage electric transport, have also gone ahead unanimously.

Finally, the municipal group Popular, which has submitted a dozen initiatives, has, in almost all cases, with the approval of the entire corporation.

The issues addressed in these motions were: to launch the cultural initiative Adopt a Monument;

Membership of the International Association of Educating Cities;

Maintenance and improvement work in the area of ​​the village of Las Amoladeras;

Technical support to the Municipal Neighborhood Boards;

Support for the production of desalinated water;

An action plan for Cuesta Blanca;

The carrying out of maintenance and repair work in the Parque de la Rosa;

The creation of a Cofrade Route, in this case with votes in favor of PP, PSOE, Citizens and MC, and abstention of CTSSP, and;

And a last one on censorship in Fetival Much More May, approved with the votes in favor of PP, Citizens and CTSSP, and against, of MC and PSOE.

Only two motions of the PP have been rejected, one on the implementation of a strategic plan for the coast of the municipality of Cartagena, which has been rejected, with votes in favor of PP, against PSOE and MC and abstention Of CTSSP and Citizens;

And another to restore the honor of Francisco José Espejo, with equal results in the vote.
