Manuel Cruz reinvents the icons of the consumer society with his latest collection (24/05/2017)

Neones, iconic characters, trademarks, the city and the night ... are some of the elements that Manuel Cruz appropriates in '# 14 # 17', decontextualizing them, mixing them together and creating a new image full of cultural connotations, A personal reflection on the society in which we live.

'# 14 # 17' is inaugurated this Thursday, May 25th at 7:30 p.m. in an event attended by the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez.

The collection of illustrations will be exhibited at Palacio Molina, located at number 28 Calle Jara, until June 25 from Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

On Mondays it will be closed.

Manuel Cruz (Madrid, 1983) graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche and his work has been exhibited in self-organized spaces, foundations and art galleries, such as the Kreisler Art Gallery Madrid, at art fairs like Just Mad or the 31st edition of the BMW Painting Prize at the Galileo Center in Madrid, also exhibiting his work in cities such as Barcelona, ​​Valencia and Alicante.
