Local Police of Cartagena assigned to the Quality of Life Unit, responsible for the protection of fauna and the environment, rescued this Sunday, May 7, a pony allegedly abandoned in the deputation of La Palma.

The agents came to the scene after learning about the horse's existence, which was allegedly abandoned for more than 10 days, and was being fed by the neighbors of the adjacent farm.

Thus, the pony has been transferred to be recognized by specialists, so that it is in custody of the veterinary services of an animal protector.

In addition, investigations have been conducted in this regard against the owner of the pony as alleged perpetrator of an animal abandonment offense.
