Firefighters from the Fire and Rescue Service (SEIS) of the Cartagena City Council extinguished early this afternoon the fire recorded in an abandoned ship on the Paseo de las Delicias de Santa Lucía, where one of the participants was slightly injured when a part collapsed of the roof.
A warning from the regional 112 emergency telephone alerted about 12,40 hours of the incident, moving quickly to the place three vehicles: a heavy urban bomb, an autoscale and a heavy-duty bomb of Cartagena park.
On their arrival they found that there was fire in the whole first plant of the ship, leaving the flames by the windows.
Once controlled and being inside the first floor, part of the roof collapsed, beating one of the firefighters, who had to be treated by an ambulance of the UME of the Murcian Health Service, without serious consequences.
About 14:30 hours the fire was completely extinguished, leaving a catch collecting the material and controlling so that the fire would not restart.
