The 13th Symphony of Religious Choir Music comes to an end with two passes this Thursday and Friday (06/04/2017)

The Sauces Choir School offers the last two concerts of the XIII Religious Choral Music Show this Thursday, April 6, and tomorrow, Friday 7, with the collaboration of the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena.

The first of these two last passes will take place this Thursday at 20.30 in the Church San Antonio Maria Claret, while the second and last of the show will arrive this Friday at 12.30 in the Church of Carmen.

The Sauces Choir School, with its director, Pedro Andrés García, already performed the first two sessions of this show last weekend, with concerts in the church of San Fulgencio on Saturday 1 and Santo Domingo on Sunday 2.

Thus, as explained by the mayor of Culture, David Martinez Noguera, "the repertoire encompasses great works by different composers and different eras."

Among the compositions to be interpreted are 'Luz de Carthago', with text by the director of the Sauces Coral School;

Hanacpachap Cussicuinin ', JP Bocanegra;

'The Saludatis Hostia', by GB Martini;

And 'Ave Maria' by TL Victoria.

Attendees will also be able to listen to other religious choral works such as WA Mozart's 'Adoramus te, Christe';

'Why Jesus Do not Weep' by JS Bach; 'Graduale' by Cherubini;

'Ave Verum', by WA Mozart;

'Zum Sanctus', by F. Shubert and Gabriel's Oboe', by E. Morricone.
