The plenary approves numerous motions from all political groups (30/03/2017)

The plenary of the City of Cartagena has approved numerous motions proposed by the different political groups, mostly unanimously.

Thus has approved a joint motion PSOE and Citizens so that the Ministry of Education is committed in writing to the expansion of the school Luis Vives of El Albujón, as well as to allocate one of the classrooms to library.

The plenary also approved a joint motion of PSOE and MC to end discrimination against people with diabetes in their access to public employment.

The motion has had the abstention of the PP that even supporting the motion was not in favor of individualizing the cases.

A motion of CTSSP has also been unanimously approved, urging the central administration to eliminate the level crossing between La Palma and Pozo Estrecho.

Also unanimously approved another motion of CTSSP on reception of refugees in Cartagena and another of this same training so that municipal lands are not ceded in the Buenos Aires estate of Molinos Marfagones for the construction of a private school.

The latter has had the abstention of the PP.

Another of the motions approved was the one that called for the resignation of the Minister of Education of the Autonomous Community due to the situation of abandonment suffered by various educational centers such as the Casa del Niño and San Isidoro.

The motion has had votes in favor of PSOE, CTSSP and Citizens;

The abstention of MC and the vote against PP.

The plenary also approved a motion of Citizens so that the City Council enables the process so that citizens can claim in their case the amounts unduly paid by the capital gains tax.

The agreement has had the abstention of CTSSP.

In this case, four motions of Citizens have been approved unanimously to carry out awareness campaigns about the feces of the dogs and of coexistence and citizenship by the bottle;

To the implementation of the Advisory Council of Tourism of the City of Cartagena created in 1986;

To the semi-annual celebration of a week of small commerce;

And a crash plan at the Gisbert Market.

With the abstention of the PP has been approved a motion of MC requesting the declaration of the Basilica of Charity and the heritage that houses as a Cultural Interest.

MC also managed to unanimously approve his motion to declare June 1 Day of Scientific Culture and Innovation in the Region in honor of the distinguished sailor and the Cartagena inventor, Isaac Peral.

Also unanimously approved a motion of MC for the creation of a census of Cartagena artists and cultural entities, giving them visibility and facilitating their recruitment;

As well as another one of MC, PSOE and PP requesting the creation of main position of the Civil Guard in Cartagena and the increase of cash of its staff.

With the abstention of Citizens and the vote against the PP, a motion of the PSOE has been approved to foment the public education and against the concerts with the private centers.

More motions approved, in these cases unanimously, have been one of MC reiterating the requirement to the Autonomous Community to prepare a master plan restoration of the Cathedral of Cartagena and a cover;

Another from the PSOE to undertake the urgent reform of the Isaac Peral Institute;

Another from the PSOE for the Autonomous Community to take into consideration the study of the UPCT that has detected heavy metals in the gardens of El Llano, El Estrecho and Beal;

And another from the PSOE for the settlement of the regional highways E-16 linking La Aljorra with San Isidro and La Magdalena and the F-43 in El Beal.

With the vote against MC and abstention of the PSOE has approved the motion of the PP that promoted the public use of a plot located next to the Plaza de la Condesa de Peralta.

Finally, two motions of the PP have been unanimously approved to repair the leaks in the Santa Florentina market and to call for vacancies;

And for the patching of the streets of El Algar.
