The Councilor of Festivities, Juan Pedro Torralba, has met with the directors of the Federation of Carthaginians and Romans, Jose Antonio Meca and Alejandro Aguirre, to agree on the use of the festive camp as a night time entertainment during Holy Week.
Torralba is committed to remove, guard and re-install before the festivities of September, all those elements that remain in the camp and that may be susceptible to damages.
"We are going to make sure that no elements or structures suffer setbacks.
We are putting every possible care to ensure that the camp is in perfect condition when troops and legions are installed, "said the mayor.
CULTURAL WEEK OF THE YEAR FESTERO
The Federation has taken advantage of the meeting to coordinate with the Council of Festivities for the plan of activities that are preparing for the end of April, with the aim of implanting in the city the tradition of the half year festival.
It is a Cultural Week in which there will be representations, exhibitions and workshops in the surroundings of the Plaza San Francisco and that will include a race for the five hills of Cartagena.
"They plan to celebrate a cultural week with the intention of Cartagena and Cartagena continue to live and enjoy the holidays throughout the year.
