The Brotherhood of San Ginés de la Jara (Patron of Cartagena) has chosen the Cofrade and the Brother of Honor of this year 2017.

The Cofrade will be the Military Arsenal of Cartagena and the Brother of Honor will be Ms. Elena Ruiz Valderas (Director of the Roman Theater of Cartagena).

The title of Cofrade falls on an institution, and the title of Brother on a person, both with an excellent historical-cultural trajectory in the city of which it is Patron San Ginés de la Jara.

In various meetings to communicate the election, Mrs. Ruiz Valderas and the Admiral of the Arsenal, was presented with a training of fruits of the Field of Cartagena, by partr of Brother Major Victor J. Navarro Iñíguez and the Consiliario Rvdo.

These appointments will be effective next April 22, in the events commemorating the Refoundation of the Brotherhood, and where this year marks the 100th anniversary of this refoundation by D. Luis Angosto in the Cathedral of Santa Maria de Gracia.
