Fomento convenes for Wednesday the Technical Committee of Work for the revision of the Cartagena General Plan (18/02/2017)

The Minister of Development and Infrastructures, Pedro Rivera, announced today that "the Ministry has called for Wednesday the Technical Working Committee for the revision of the General Plan of Cartagena, which is part of the City Council, and which will analyze the viable solutions that Allow the municipality to count as soon as possible with a General Plan ".

Rivera insisted that "from the regional government collaboration with the City of Cartagena is absolute for the municipality to have the planning instrument necessary for its management, prosperity and development, and so we make available to our technicians so that they can advise on all The necessary issues ".

The Technical Commission will analyze the situation of the Municipal General Plan after the last resolution of the Superior Court of Justice.

The objective of the Ministry is to study different options "to give an immediate solution to the most urgent needs of Cartagena and to propose feasible and effective proposals for the municipality to have a General Plan as soon as possible," explained the counselor.

The head of Development explained that "the regional executive has not adopted any administrative decision on the procedure to follow in relation to municipal administrative processing after the sentence of the High Court of Justice."

"The Community respects the judicial resolution and will continue working together with the City of Cartagena so that within the framework of legality has a General Plan that gives legal security and safeguard the public interest," he added.
