The neighborhoods of San Anton and Urbanizacion Mediterraneo will be the next destinations of the neighborhoods program of the ADLE (10/02/2017)

The program of the Local Development and Employment Agency (ADLE), 'Barrios', whose main objective is to carry out occupational training activities both theoretical and practical in the field of urban maintenance for the unemployed, will carry out its next edition in The neighborhood of San Antón and Urbanización Mediterráneo.

Thus, the deadline for submitting applications will be open from Monday, February 13 until Friday 24 of the same month, and the program, which seeks to get unemployed students to learn or extend a trade through training, Beginning March 1.

Ana Belén Castejón, deputy mayor and president of the ADLE, recalled the bet that is being made in the neighborhoods and councils, since this program has been developed in El Llano del Beal, Los Dolores and Santa Lucía.

"While helping to complete the training of our unemployed to facilitate their access to the labor market, we improve the infrastructure of our neighborhoods, so the benefit is double" said Castejón, who has remarked that, "this time, In San Antón and in the Mediterranean Urbanization ".

The training that will receive the participants in the courses of this program will be both theoretical in the classroom, where they will be taught the modules of prevention of occupational risks, masonry, painting and plasterboard;

As a practice, with which students will learn in their own neighborhood to put into practice what was learned in class.

The 10 students participating during the three months of this program will also receive training in employment orientation, which will include how to prepare a curriculum, look for work online, training orientation, and public and private employment.

In support of the training, these will receive a scholarship of 10 euros per day of assistance to the training action.

Also, once the program is finished, the students' curricula will be incorporated into the database of the Placement Agency of the ADLE.

On the other hand, the Councilor for Decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba, along with the manager of the ADLE, Manuel Mora, visited this Thursday, February 9, the neighborhood of San Antón and the Mediterranean Urbanization in order to meet with the neighborhood representatives and Make a study of the actions that can be carried out through the 'Barrios' program.

"Our goal is to train the unemployed and organize the actions in the neighborhoods with the neighbors, who are who should indicate their priorities," said Mora.
