Cartagena honors the poet Miguel Hernandez on the 75th anniversary of his death The theater, poetry and cante, as well as publications of books, guides and didactic instruments to carry the theater are featured in the program of commemorative events (02/02/2017)

The Deputy Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez, accompanied by the director of the Cultural Foundation Miguel Hernández, Aitor Larrabide, and the official chronicler of the city, Francisco José Franco, presented the program of Acts of the Year of Miguel Hernández.

In addition, IES Ben Arabí and IES Mediterráneo will continue to hold the annual contest of poetry 'Vientos del pueblo' and prepare a visit to his home in Orihuela.
