The group ArtNostrum lands this weekend in Milan with their show 'Coordinate 37,6-0,9', which will remain at the Hernandez Art Gallery until next February 16.
As explained by the president of the collective, Antonio Vidal Máiquez, the name of the exhibition is the coordinates of Cartagena and those of Milan, with which they wanted to establish the nexus of union between the two cities.
This group of artists from the Region of Murcia is made up of a total of fifteen painters, sculptors, photographers and engravers, mostly from Cartagena, who are: Alvaro Peña, Antonio Gómez Ribelles, Belén Orta, Cristóbal Pérez, Fernando Sáenz de Elorrieta, Javier Lorente, Kraser, Luis Mariano, Marcos Amorós, Olga Rodríguez, Pérez Casanova, Piedad Martínez, Rosana Sitcha, Salvador Torres and Vidal Máiquez.
The Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena has collaborated with ArtNostrum to help show the great quality of our artists in all corners of the world.
"They are the best ambassadors of Cartagena and the Region of Murcia that we could have and a valuable sample of the talent and creativity that is brewing in the Mediterranean.
That is why we wanted to collaborate with them and help them, as far as possible, to bring their works closer to the European public, "said the mayor of Culture, David Martinez Noguera.
In fact, in the autumn of last year they made the exhibition 'Made in Spain' in the Italian city of Daverio, which opened the doors to which it opens this Friday in Milan.
"This was one of the goals that we set when we created the collective, to be able to take the artistic talent of Cartagena around the world and that these samples serve as a showcase," said Vidal Máiquez.
For the exhibition in Milan, each of these fifteen artists will carry two works of 30x30 and a larger one
