Decentralization carries out several actions to adapt different public spaces in Lo Campano (21/11/2016)

The Department of Decentralization of the City of Cartagena has launched a series of actions in the sweep of Lo Campano, aimed at adapting and improving different areas of municipal ownership.

The mayor of the area, Juan Pedro Torralba, explained that the work being carried out in this neighborhood have as main objective to encourage the use of these public spaces, so that they constitute a meeting point for groups working in Lo Campano and serve to improve neighborly and social relations.

Among these actions is the reform of the electrical system of the municipal social center, located on Calle Maspalomas, which has been under development since last October 24 and has been tendered for 27,646.87 euros.

In addition, four picnic tables valued at 1,000 euros have been provided, which have been installed in the Botica of the Book of Lo Campano by the students of the courses of the Local Development and Employment Agency (ADLE), which have also been commissioned To adapt the environment.

Following the improvement of the municipal area of ​​the neighborhood of Lo Campano will be installed five prefabricated concrete banks of 150x40x4 with a budget of 1,469 euros, in the neighborhood of the municipal social premises on Maspalomas street.

Some of these actions were very necessary for the neighborhood, such as the renovation of the electrical system of the social premises, which had been deteriorating for several years, or the comprehensive reform of the environment of La Botica del Libro, Torralba said.
