The deputy mayor denies that the ADLE has lost any subsidy of 100 thousand euros, because she never had it (15/11/2016)

The deputy mayor and president of the Agency for Local Development and Employment of the City of Cartagena (ADLE), Ana Belén Castejón, has denied that this body has lost any subsidy of 100 thousand euros, because it never had.

Ana Belén explained that the ADLE is presented in the last year to more calls for grants than had ever been presented and it is logical that not all are awarded.

In fact, the City of Cartagena has been the only municipality in the region that has requested one of these grants of 100 thousand euros, destined to unemployed young people within the program of youth entrepreneurship of the Incyde Foundation;

And he did it because even knowing that it was complicated to be granted, he preferred to try rather than surrender.

The ADLE also requested this subsidy because it was requested by the Chamber of Commerce of Cartagena, since they could not contribute the 20 percent that was demanded in the call.

The deputy mayor has asked for respect for officials and said she is proud of her work.

Castejón has assured that they will continue to request aid even at the risk of not granting them, while specifying that this subsidy, which allegedly has lost ADLE, will remain in Cartagena since it has been granted to the CEEIC, benefiting from this Young unemployed people from Cartagena.

Finally, he pointed out that he will not allow any municipal group to disrespect the officials or question their professionalism and good work in the preparation of the applications for grants.
