A Modernista Market recreate this weekend the spirit of Cartagena in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries (02/11/2016)

2016 has been declared the Year of Modernism by the City of Cartagena coinciding with the centenary of the Gran Hotel building.

For this reason, the traditional Medieval Market taking place during this time in the historic center has changed its theme and will be a Modernista Market.

The single market, organized by the City of Cartagena, the Culture and Heritage and the Department of Social Services, and with the theme realization of the Solo Craftsmen "Rivendell" Association, on Friday, April will open November at 12: 00 hours, by the mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, and has provided assistance Deputy mayor same way, Ana Belén Castejon, and the councilor of the Culture, Ricardo Segado.

The Modernista market will remain installed until Sunday November 6 through the streets of the historic center of the city.

You can enjoy a falconry show in the Plaza de San Francisco.

Also on University Boulevard a farm with different animals and camels, camels, ponies and donkeys, to the delight of the audience will be installed.
