Local Police prepares a special monitoring device to prevent vandalism on Halloween night (27/10/2016)

Cartagena Local Police will launch during the night of October a special monitoring device 31 to prevent vandalism and anti-social acts committed on the occasion celebrating Halloween, ensuring at all times the tranquility of Cartagena.

The police group recalls that the egg throwing action is not nonsense, because it can assume a slight to the Organic Law 4/2015, of March 30, protection of citizen security breach, and punishes the author causing damage or turbidity movable or immovable property for public use or service, as well as movable property or private property on public roads, they do not constitute a criminal offense.

This type of vandalism carries fines of 100 to 600 euros in the case of adults and juveniles, is violation of the Criminal Law of Minors, in addition to the economic amount for damages.

Local police also strengthen monitoring traffic during the bridge of All Saints from Friday 28 October until February 1, holding a device that ensures access road to the various cemeteries in the municipality security.

Control and traffic control will take place at the entrances to the cemeteries of St. Lucia, St. Anton, Quarries, alums, Perín, Tallante, ports, San Isidro / La Magdalena, La Aljorra, Pozo Estrecho, La Palma, the Algar, San Ginés de la Jara and Los Belones.

It is anticipated that the number of vehicles is less, since it coincides with a long weekend, but as always the use of public transport is recommended to avoid traffic jams.
