The first race of the Port of Cartagena will bring together five hundred runners Saturday (21/10/2016)

One of the most iconic scene of Cartagena, the port, meet next Saturday, October 22, more than five hundred runners for the first race of the Port of Cartagena 10 KCPC, organized by the Port Authority and the sports club Runtritón sporting event with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena.

The overall event will be held over a distance of about 10 kilometers (about 9600 meters) round trip to Cala Cortina, for roads, sidewalks and harbor areas, always respecting its protected areas and will begin at 18:30 pm .

Starting and finishing on the harbor promenade, there will be races for the little ones and for people with disabilities.

Before absolute proof minor races take place, with three departures after 17:30 hours, 2 minutes after absolute proof, at 18:32 hours will begin careers for people with disabilities in categories cadets and juveniles, from a distance of approximately 3000 meters.

The profile of the test has a low level of hardness, with a tour of the docks in the commercial harbor of Cartagena, which set an almost flat diverse itinerary of land of asphalt and sidewalk entirely with a single up and down direction Santa Florentina castle-cala Cortina.

In addition, we must highlight the beneficial nature of this test as part of the proceeds will go for the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).

Those who do not participate in the race but want to contribute to the cause Row 0 where you can buy t-shirts in the collection of numbers, there will be the Club de Regatas, throughout Saturday.
