Civil Protection Volunteers must renew their commitment (07/10/2016)

Civil Protection volunteers will have to renew their commitment starting next week, as reported by the councilman of Interior and Public Safety, Francisco Aznar.

The regulations governing this service states that must be renewed each year and, so far, not done.

All volunteers must submit new documentation on the training they have, among other issues.

Civil protection is not closed, only restructuring, said the mayor.

The documentation must be submitted through the municipal website, with the aim that anyone wishing to join this service can.

It will create a bag of volunteers so that when we need to call them.

We are reorganizing Civil Protection to provide citizens with the best service, said Francisco Aznar.

Law 7/1985, of 2 April, regulating the Bases of Local Government, as amended by Law 57/2003 of 16 December on measures for the modernization of local government in Articles 21.1.m, 25.2.cy 26.1.c, attributed to local councils and mayors responsibility for civil protection, empowering them to perform different for the protection of persons and property in emergency activities.
