Games and activities for the visual health of children of Cartagena on the Day of Optometry (06/10/2016)

On Thursday 13 and Friday 14 October, more than 300 students in fourth and fifth elementary schools enjoy Cartagena educational games and activities, which will become pirates for a few hours fighting the diopter.

Thus, celebrating the College of Opticians-Optometrists of Murcia World Day of Optometry.

Plaza San Francisco will be the setting in which children can perform numerous free activities for 9-14 hours related to eye care.

Children who come will disguise themselves as pirates, conducted workshops visual skills and compete in team games.

In addition, students will take a big pirate ship class cardboard decorated by themselves.

This activity, which has the support of the City of Cartagena, will star Cartagena schools that encourage participation susalumnos 10 and 11 years.

The objective

of this campaign it is to convey the importance of proper eye health from childhood and work practicing professionals optics and optometry in treating vision problems.

Many schools suffer visual dysfunctions that affect school performance and it is important to conduct periodic reviews to prevent possible problems.

They participate in collegiate optical activity to guide schoolchildren and their teachers about the best way to take care of your vision.
