A year, sport and solidarity gathered at the Fourth Battle Solidarity Sports of the Festival of Carthaginians and Romans will be given.

The event will feature two activities, a basketball tournament 3x3 and zumba class, and its revenue will be devoted to Cartagena with intellectual disabilities also enjoy their leisure time.

The SOI Foundation, promoted by Astus and ASID Cartagena, organizes this event that features the main support of the Department of Sports City of Cartagena, the Federation troops and legions of Carthaginians and Romans and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.

Councilman Sports Area, Ricardo Segado, has been responsible for introducing this sport and solidarity today, September 6, at the Palace Hall, with the president of SOI, Juan Carrasco and the director of the same, David Rivera.

The mayor of Sports has stressed that the objective of this event, included in the sporting calendar Carthaginians and Romans, is that people with disabilities can pursue leisure activities in normal environments.

For his part, Juan Carrasco has claimed that leisure is a fundamental part of life and has been the great forgotten in people with disabilities.

BASKETBALL 3X3 AND ZUMBA

The basketball tournament will be this Saturday, Sept. 10, in the sports hall of the Polygon Cabezo Beazadesde 9:00 am and have six age categories, from youngest to seniors, both male and female.

The registration fee for teams is between 15 and 20 euros and the deadline to sign ends on Friday, September 9, at 12:00 noon on the following website.

All participants will receive gifts and also different drawings will be held, including highlights a ball signed by the player of Real Madrid basketball, Felipe Reyes.

Zumba class will take place on Saturday, September 17, on the esplanade next to the stadium Cartagonova between las10.30 and 12.30.

In this case the registration is individual and is priced at 10 euros.

Registration can be made in advance on the web or in person the day of the class.

All participants will receive gift unamochila and supplies, as well as participating in the draw for many gifts.
