El Algar, parties in honor of the Virgen de los Llanos (02/09/2016)

Cartagenera deputation of El Algar held its festivities between 3 and 12 September with a variadaprogramación and music entertainment for the whole family.

These celebrations, in honor of the Virgen de Los Llanos, are organized by the Association of Residents of El Algar collaboration with the Department of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena.

The next Saturday, Sept. 3, will take place at 22:00 hours the inauguration of the exhibition center with the lighting of the lights and 23:00 will be the opening speech will be given by the president of the Neighborhood Association, Pedro García , and will be attended by the Councillor for Tourism of the City of Cartagena, Obdulia Gomez.

From this day, residents and visitors can enjoy many activities among which are a gastronomic competition, a meeting of bobbins, family raffles and dance performances.

Variety magazine encourage night soiree Thursday, September 8, with the varied activities that go from couplet, mariachis, flamenco dancing, a humorous action and vedette.

The musical note will come from the hand of Take Cover, Adrian Ruiz, cinnamon sticks, Gemini Duo, Saray Melo, David Andreu, City Scoundrel and the quartet First Line, among others.

On Monday, September 12th is the day of the patron and a Mass at 11:30 am and a procession at 20:00 in the neighboring town of the Virgin accompany the garb of Manolas be held .

On the same day last midnight fireworks will end to the activities at the fairgrounds.

With the procession and Mass in honor of the Virgen de los Llanos to take place on Sunday, September 18, officially completed the holidays El Algar.
