La Aljorra held an open day with the Islamic community to learn about their activities (26/07/2016)

The Islamic Center Addoha held on Friday July 15 to the feast of Ramadan in La Aljorra, with an open day in which local residents could visit the mosque after its renovation, and learn first hand activities, not only religious, but cultural, social and educational nature, which she held throughout the year.

The Islamic community wanted to share with neighbors and both festive celebration as the completion of the improvements the Centre, while opening its doors to meet him inside.

The Center has an office management and administration, and various rooms for prayer and Arab culture classes.

He could also see a video with images of the activities taking place in Central and finally, attendees will be presented with a meal where you could taste typical Maghrebi sweet, Moroccan tea and various typical culinary creations from North Africa.

With this initiative, the Islamic Community (part of that Partnership Coordinator) goes one step further in its progress towards integration into the society aljorreña, sharing and displaying their cultural reality with neighbors.

During the visit the activities performed in the mosque, as classes of Arabic language and culture to Moroccan children (about 180), activities for the use of leisure time and the characteristics of the Muslim faithful religious activities were explained.

It is noteworthy that the gateway to the Mosque is manufactured as in Oujda, a town in eastern Morocco, and has been brought from there to its placement on the main access to the religious center.

The tiles are manufactured in Castellón.
