Mock rescue Levante Beach (12/07/2016)

Civil Protection Volunteers and Local Police of the City of Cartagena have staged this morning unsimulacro sea rescue on the beach of Levante, which was attended by an audit of the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality, which depend Quality Q flags.

A volunteer has feigned drowning a hundred meters from the beach, where he was rescued by members of Civil Protection, who have moved to shore.

Once there, he has been treated as if he had suffered a cardiac arrest, which was revived using a defibrillator (AED) and other auxiliary materials, which are in all first aid posts.

The performance of all personnel intervened has been impeccable.

They have done a great job shows that the safety of swimmers is guaranteed, stressed the Security council and Interior, Francisco Aznar, who has attended this drill.

The audit of the Institute for Quality Tourism has measured the response times of each of those involved in the rescue, which have fully adjusted to those required.
