For this year 2016, in charge of making the opening speech in honor of the Patron of Cartagena it is going to be Mr. Tomás Martínez Pagán.
Thomas, a person involved with their city and actively involved in different aspects of society cartagenera, has been chosen to preach at 21h next August 24 to San Ginés de la Jara, eve of the feast.
The proclamation which celebrates its tenth edition, is an action promoted by the parish of San Ginés de la Jara, the Brotherhood of San Ginés de la Jara and the Brotherhood of Romeros of San Ginés de la Jara, whose appointment was communicated personally last month of April.
Tomás Martínez Pagán professionally is the Deputy Director of Mechanical Group Bolea.
From the point of cofrade view, is the Big Brother of Honor of the Brotherhood of NP Risen Jesus and Brother of Honor of various groupings of Holy Week: Santiago Apostle, Christ Relief, St. Thomas, La Magdalena, among other other cities of Spain.
In addition, last year 2015 was town crier of literary call Cartagena.
