As a local government for the conservation of the Regional Park Calblanque, this morning presented the bus system linking Los Belones with this natural environment and will be available during the summer period from Saturday June 25 and until 4 September.

The event was attended both the councilor for the Quality of Life and Environment, Francisco Calderon, as the Minister of Water, Agriculture and Environment, Adela Martinez Cacho.

Both agreed that in this way a respite for this protected environment and for the preservation of nature is assured.

Now there will be less aggression private cars arriving at the beach because that is enabled by the City Park deterrent Los Belones, commented Calderon.

In this way, people can park their cars and go by bus through the enabled lines, a project that is part of the campaign Calblanque 4: 40En reference to the number of wheels that travel through the park.

However, there is no problem in any case with access on foot or by bicycle.

The aim is to reduce the emission of dust choking the plants, to avoid collisions with wildlife and reduce the outbreak of fire risk and improve air quality and safety and facilitate access to emergency services and reduce stress visitors to the beaches of Calblanque.

On the other hand, the minister stressed that through the park and ride, you can give externally know the population of Los Belones and even promote commercial activity in the area.

Bus lines available

To reach the regional park will be output with a frequency of approximately every 20 minutes offered the two lines will depart from Los Belones hour from 9.30 pm to 20.30.

Line 1 will stop at the park entrance, in the parking clog up (access to Long Beach) and in the parking Paya Negrete (access to Playa Larga and Negrete).

Meanwhile, Line 2 will also stop at the park entrance and in the parking lot of Las Salinas (Calblanque beach access).

PRICES

For either of the two lines, the established price is 2 euros if it is single ticket 3 euros if purchased round trip.

They have also established rates half price for children under 12, over 65, large families and students card, so it will only 1 euro for a single ticket and 1.5 to return.

In the case of children under 3 years not occupying a seat, will travel free.
