African dance and world music rhythm infect this weekend to Cartagena Folk (17/06/2016)

The final stretch of Cartagena Folk festival take the sound of world music Paseo del Puerto.

Through the sounds of percussion and guitars, the Eastern African rhythms and dances, programming the weekend festival offers an approach to the culture of traditional music.

On Saturday, June 18, Juan Jose Robles arrives with his album Time Out from 12:00 hours melodies composed by the Murcian artist in showing his vision of the musical tradition after many years of interpretation of folklore of Murcia, followed by percussion D'Akokan, which also accompany other artists of the cultural day.

Manuel Luna offered from 19:00 and Travel Sonoros that show through your notes one largatrayectoria along the paths of the root music, to slip into the world of arrangements and musical creation through delcaudal of peasant tradition, with winks the flamenco or Hispanic tune with their bagpipes north and flutes.

On Saturday the Cartagena Folk end with the sounds of the Maghreb to Central Europe or East Asia with DJ Boni PinchaMundos.

African sounds will be responsible for closing the festival on Sunday June 19 through African dance workshop by Aziz Diouf at 10:00 am on Paseo del Puerto followed two hours later, a percussion and dance African with Kunta Kinte.
