The First Drawing Contest to commemorate the Day of the Rights of the Child already has a winner (10/06/2016)

Mamouni Yassin, a student of Stella Maris Primary School, has won the I Drawing Competition for election poster commemorating the Day of the Rights of the Child.

The jury, chaired by the Councillor for Social Services, Carmen Martin, also gave up five accesit.

The awards will be presented on June 15 at the Palace Hall.

The competition is a pre-celebration of the International Day of the Rights of the Child 2016 that will take place on November 18 activity, and aims to work to raise awareness of the importance of ensuring the rights of the child is not confined to a single day in the calendar.

The departments of Social Services and Education, once the deadline is over, received a total of 81 drawings, which were analyzed, according to bidding rules published by the jurors who met last Tuesday under the chairmanship of Councillor Social services, Carmen Martin.

The jury decided to proclaim winner of the I Drawing Competition for election poster commemorating the Day of the Rights of the Child Mamouni Yassin, a student of 6th EP CEIP Stella Maris of the Virgin of Charity neighborhood.

It also decided to grant five accesit relapsing Rosa Maria Valero 5th EP CEIP Asdrúbal, Samuel Fernandez 5th EP CEIP Stella Maris, Yanira Canovas 6th EP CEIP Stella Maris, Juan Arroyo 4th of EP CEIP Asdrubal Andel Halim and 6th of EP CEIP Stella Maris.

The awards will be presented on June 15 in a ceremony to be held at the Palace Hall.
