Continue proposals Much More May for next days (23/05/2016)

The cultural festival Much More May proposed for tomorrow Tuesday, May 24, taking tea with Kant, an X-ray gender to Spanish cinema, giving an exploratory walk around the city via the internet or listen to the experience of public art of a small town of Cordoba.

One of the highlights will be the presentation of the new municipal culture program Think Cartagena, aimed at incorporating the thought, philosophy and scientific culture to the municipal cultural programming, draft democratization of knowledge.

This presentation will involve the Councillor for Culture, David Martinez;

the dean of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Murcia;

and the Vice Chancellor of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Sergio Amat.

This program will be presented at 20:00 pm in the multipurpose room of the Casino de Cartagena (at Mayor, 15) with the representation of the play Tea with Kant, the Galician company Inverse Theater.

This is a show where humor, irony and philosophy go hand in hand to promote reflection and action of the audience, through the manipulation of objects, video projections, photomontages, cut-outs and shadow theater.

Tea with Kant is an experimental project that combines the combination of the philosophical essay and performing arts playing with humor and irony to get a piece of close intimate theater theater format-didactic conference, where his actresses and creative María Caparrini and Marta Pérez try to exercise as philosophical stirring with the aim of removing and promote reflection and action of the audience about the moral issues today as well as examine the advantages and disadvantages of moral enlightened age.

The program also proposes the possibility at the same time to make an exploratory journey through different streets of the city center.

The tour will depart Fourth Street Santos corner of Calle Doctor Tapias, and the participants the story of each of the urban areas is done via the Internet in the project called The spoken street, creators Clara Boj and Diego Diaz.

At 19:30 hours the conference room of the Roman Theatre, will host the first conference of the cycle Arts and gender policy space fiction.

This first conference will be borne by the historian researcher and blogger Maria Castejon Leorza, who will talk about his research on gender representations in the Spanish cinema from the point of view of feminist criticism, entitled Stills gender.
