Cartagena preparing to May crosses next weekend (02/05/2016)

The streets of the city is preparing to host the most colorful festival of spring, the Cruces de Mayo.

Food, drink and music will bring together thousands of people during this weekend from 6 to 8 May.

In total 62 establishments city center, among which are 54 local center and 8 ssociations and groups set up their floral monuments.

To this offer 12 local districts and councils are added.

According to the Department of Celebration, who heads the mayor Juan Pedro Torralba, the festivities will begin on Friday, May 6 at 12 noon.

The music must be environmental or perform live performances while respecting the limits set by the Municipal Ordinance will be from 15:00 to 17:30 hours.

Establishments and premises will respect the rest of the neighbors and cease activity on 6 and 7 at 2:00 am and 8, at 21:00.

In consideration of the crosses of May as outdoor shows dehorario City Council determines conditions, installation and levels of special and exclusive sound for this period.

Outside of these dates and times, establishments shall comply with the schedules and activities for those having ordinary authorization.
