Cartagena shows its solidarity with the Ecuadorian people (20/04/2016)

The City of Cartagena has shown solidarity and affection in these difficult moments with the people of Ecuador.

Mayor Jose Lopez, has called for a minute of silence for Thursday at the Palace Hall while has spread the account number that has enabled Ecuador embassy in Spain to help earthquake victims

The strong 7.8 magnitude earthquake rocks that struck last Saturday Manabi province, northeast of Ecuador, has aroused the solidarity of Cartagena.

On behalf of them all, the mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, has contacted the consulate of Ecuador in Murcia to offer all the help and solidarity of the members of the Consistory.

The mayor has made available to the representatives of the people of Ecuador all municipal resources that are useful to them and reiterated the full cooperation of the City of Cartagena as possible.
