The Minister of Education and Universities, Maria Isabel Sanchez-Mora, chaired the governing board of the partner institution of the National University of Distance Education (UNED) in Cartagena, which was proposed as center director Maria Luisa Martinez Jimenez, who he has been secretary for over 20 years and professor tutor of that center.

Sanchez-Mora congratulated the governing board for this proposal, pending the formal appointment.

The Minister encouraged to continue working to make the Open University in Cartagena an innovative and prestigious university.
