A varied cultural life Luzzy fill in a new edition of Reading, Thinking, Imagining (04/04/2016)

The cultural landscape of Cartagena is in full swing thanks to the diverse cultural offerings that laConcejalía of Culture organized for the coming months with the second edition of Read, think, imagine.

The proposed cultural agenda is completed with 32 new activities to be developed in the Cultural Center Ramón Aloso Luzzy and covering a wide range intended for all profiles, presentations of books from novels, essays, poetry, stories;

to a series of activities to mark the World Environment Day with round tables or photographic exhibitions;

English through storytelling dedicated to younger audiences.

All this taking care of the commitment of the Department of Culture to respect the principle of gender equality scrupulously, no genre is represented below 40% in all scheduled activities.

Councillor for Culture, David Martinez, has been commissioned to disclose all the details of this new program this morning on April 4, at the Palace Hall.

In addition, the council has been accompanied by elcoordinador of Culture, Patricio Hernández, and the coordinator of Culture, Chenchi Plazas.

David Martinez stressed that this programming commitment to cultural diversity by creating a space for different cultural proposals and to address different problems facing society like climate change, evictions, historical memory, immigration or the struggle for equality gender.

A culture for all, said the councilman of Culture, referring to the diversity of our society is reflected in the variety of this programming.

Similarly with these activities significant dates such as the World Dance Day, April 29, or the World Environment Day will be commemorated on 5 June.

Success, according to Hernandez, is that it is an offer that is not based only in a culture of entertainment but bet, as its name suggests, by extolling the culture of reading, thinking and discussions.
