The Technical Committee of the Municipal Plan Disability held its first meeting (17/03/2016)

On Tuesday March 15 took place in the building of La Milagrosa the first meeting of the Technical Commission of Municipal Disability Plan, promoted by the Department of Social Services.

The mayor Carmen Martin, together with the coordinator of Social Services, Damián Pérez, and technicians Unit Persons with Disabilities, addressed a meeting attended by the councilor for Youth, Ricardo Segado, and also councilors Pilar Marcos (CTSSP), Antonio Calderon (PP) and Manuel Padin and Alfredo Nieto (Citizens).

In addition, were present Youth Technical, Planning and Infrastructure, Sports, Society Casco Antiguo and Social Services Councils.

And by the entities of Social Action, representatives deFAMDIF, Astus, ASTRADE, PRIMI-SPORT, HOSPITALITY LOUEDES, APICES and PARKINSON.

The plan was presented through different audiovisual media, including two videos on the types of disabilities and the Guide to Good Treatment for people with disabilities, in order to sensitize and permeate the philosophy of Plan people forming the Commission Technique.

Following the actions that contemplates the Plan, according to the competencies of each of the areas of the City, being deployed to form sectoral working groups and design and implement the various actions within the budgetary possibilities, thereby moving towards the study they were worked accessibility in the municipality in all areas.

Intending to final approval of the Municipal Plan Disability before next summer was set as the deadline on April 26 to include new contributions, date when they will meet again.
