The delegate of Portal and Transparency Office, José María Soler, councilor met this morning at the administrative building of San Miguel, with the president of the XIII National Congress of the Spanish Association of Audiology, Sheila Tempering.
Congress, under the Audiology Clinic title and Hearing Rehabilitation, held in Cartagena next on 20 and 21 May at the Faculty of Business of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), the first occasion in which celebrates this event in the region.
The mayor has given the municipal collaboration in organizing the event, thanking who have in Cartagena thinking as the seat of an activity that will gather for two days to tens of healthcare professionals from major national centers such as the Universities of Salamanca and Granada, among others.
Subsequently, Sheila Temperate held a meeting with the manager of the Cartagena Convention Bureau Foundation, Antonio Garcia, who reiterated institutional support to Congress.
Similarly, expressed the interest of the City to try different ways of collaboration. Garcia said that in this way the role of Cartagena as a destination city congress is reinforced at the national level.
The program devised for Congress tries to focus on clinical and rehabilitation, in order that professionals from different branches to find a common point in the pursuit of interest that unites them, improving the quality of life of people with auditory dysfunction.
The Spanish Association of Audiology (AEDA) is a private non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the development of Audiology in Spain. AEDA is a member of the European Federation of Audiology (EFAs) and the International Society of Audiology (ISA) before which represents the interests of its members.
