The fastest connection, 11 starts and a virtual tour of the Cathedral of Cartagena Teleco LAN Party 8 (17/02/2016)

The biggest event of digital entertainment and electronic sports in Cartagena, the Teleco LAN Party, returns to bet this year by the disclosure with a technology fair for the first time bring to the city an immersive tour of the Old Cathedral of Cartagena through virtual reality goggles most advanced, the Oculus Rift, with the recreation of the temple by the Integra Foundation.

On Wednesday 24, registration opens for one of the three hundred seats to have a job network and access to electronic tournaments in this technological marathon organized at the School of Telecommunications at the Polytechnic students.

The registration fee is 30 euros and includes a souvenir T-shirt, as well as rest areas.

Last year, registrations were sold out in less than a week.

Free access will be technological fair Teleco LAN Party 8, to be held throughout Friday March 18 in the courtyard of the School of Teleco, and in addition to virtual reality, may experiment with drones and robots fighting, provided by El Corte Ingles, playing on a giant Scalextric track and learn from advanced robotics and telecommunications networks in the hands of students and researchers UPCT.

Attendees at this new edition of the LAN Party Teleco 2,500 euros in prize money will be played in eleven tournaments electronic games on different platforms, among which are the classic Fifa, Counter Strike and League of Legends.

In the scenario where the final tournament will be played technological conferences will also take place during different days of the event.
