The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, inaugurated this afternoon the new local office of The poposa (Private Mayor of Cartagena) in quarries, in an act that has been attended by president of the neighborhood association, Veronica Villar and councilors Decentralization, Nicholas Angel Bernal, District Camarzana Isaiah and Social Care, Antonio Calderon, among others.
The new store, which has completed execution time (eight months after construction began last October), will respond to the demands of groups in the area, which lacked a place to gather and celebrate their activities.
Located on Mount San Julian Street, the new facilities consist of 120 square meters on one floor, which facilitates maintenance and cleaning, and has a large activity room, office and toilets, with a budget of 103,000 euros.
