The IES Bastarreche Crearte wins national high school (15/06/2010)

Bastarreche IES director, Antonio Arroyo, received on Thursday, June 10, 2009 CreArte prize hands of the Minister of Culture, Angeles Gonzalez-Sinde.

The prize is a badge that proves to IES as Creative Learning Center and a cash prize of 20,000 euros.

The draft presented by the Cultural Week IES was working in the film, which also helped the Department of Youth from the IDEAS program and Much More Festival in May.

The project collected all activities from different academic disciplines were made on film, including: Exposure: The films of our lives: The Art of Dreaming of Alfonso Santos Garcia Fernandez, the short-Award semifinalist Limit 18 The Any illusion, the Short-Forum Contest, Pop-Corn, Contest web design, film music shows, parade on the Influence Aesthetic in Cinema, cinema, forum and chat, among others.

For this award valued the appropriateness of the project to the creative aims set for this Prize, the use of new technologies, the educational contribution of the work presented, the ease of transferring the experience to other schools and the encouragement of creativity of students.

The event, held at the Instituto Miguel Servet in Zaragoza also attended by the Minister of Culture, Angeles Gonzalez-Sinde, Secretary of State for Education, Eva Almunia and relevant authorities in the community of Aragon.

In total we have presented to the First Edition of CreArte awards a total of 230 Spanish schools that could be of Education, Primary, Special and Secondary. 40 prizes were awarded, ten in each category.

In addition to the IES Bastarreche received another award CreArte CEIP San Isidoro de El Algar, in the category of Early Childhood Education, endowed with 10,000 euros, with the project: Free Week. A sea of letters.

It is a comprehensive proposal that extends from the stories, creating poems, meetings with authors, literary and recreational use of ICT.

All focused on knowledge of the Mar Menor through poems and legends Carmen Conde de Santiago Delgado.

Centers were also recipients of Aragon, Madrid, Catalonia, Andalucia, Baleares, Canarias, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Galicia and Valencia.
