The City Council launches a Single Office for Attention to SMEs, freelancers and merchants (08/05/2020)

| Starting Monday, a single telephone with ten lines will begin to function at 968021701 | The Cartagena City Council has set up a Single Office for Attention to SMEs, the Self-Employed and Small Commerce, where they can obtain information on municipal aid and its processing; labor and tax advice; and updated guidance on regional and state aid, as well as for the management of ICO loans. The Unique Business Assistance Telephone, which starts operating on Monday, is 968021701.

10 lines have been set up, which will be operational from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m.

to 2 p.m.“When the crisis began, we launched the Single Social Emergency Telephone, which continues to operate, to support those families who needed basic resources such as food, hygiene and cleaning products.

We have to continue advancing and we were very clear about the second step, supporting our entrepreneurs, the self-employed, small businesses and traditional businesses in these difficult times.

In the Unique Telephone of Attendance they will receive all the information and advice that they need to obtain aids and advice of all kinds ”, indicated the mayor Ana Belén Castejón.The Single Office for Attention to SMEs and the Self-Employed will be at the Local Development and Employment Agency (ADLE), once their offices are opened, as the de-escalation progresses.To implement tax and labor consultancies, the City Council is negotiating agreements with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs (AJE) and with the Association of Women Entrepreneurs (AMEP).All the information on this Single Office, as well as on the aid provided by the City Council, is now available on the municipal website, from the banner that hangs on the main page of the same called: Help for companies and the self-employed. This page provides information on municipal aid and how it should be processed.MORE THAN 3,000 BUSINESSES WILL BENEFIT FROM MUNICIPAL AIDCurrently, there is information on municipal aid that can benefit more than 3,000 businesses that have been forced to close by Royal Decree 463/2020 of March 14.Specifically, to request exemption from paying the water bill or reducing the garbage fee, a self-filling form will be posted on the website.This exemption will be applied to businesses that had to close on a mandatory basis by Royal Decree 463/2020 of March 14.Those interested in requesting exemption from receipt payment indicate their water contract number; its national code of economic activities cnae; and your account number.In addition, they will have to present as additional documents: the last water bill; registration in the Treasury (model 036 or 037); an affidavit that they intend to resume business and the lease, if any."This aid is retroactive, so whoever is granted it, will be returned what they have paid from March 14.

The duration of this aid is extensive until the Alarm State is completely lifted, "said the mayor.
