The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the 1-1-2 Emergency Center of the Region of Murcia, has carried out an investigation to identify and locate a false nurse in the Cartagena district of Los Nietos, which has culminated with the arrest of a woman, 33 years old and a resident of the town, as alleged for the crimes of professional intrusion and serious disobedience to an agent of the authority.
The investigation was initiated thanks to the collaboration request of the 1-1-2 Emergency Center that alerted the Civil Guard that a woman was exercising a professional activity, related to health, without having an academic degree.
This person came to request the activation of the health emergency protocol for Coronavirus, which caused intrusions in the Emergency Center of the Region of Murcia that damaged the detection of possible real cases and that generated great social alarm.
From that moment, the Civil Guard was collecting indications until they found out that the suspect was working in the homes of the Los Nietos district of Cartagena, to whom she traveled claiming to be a nurse, equipped with a white coat, a stethoscope, an infrared thermometer, gloves and a mask to supposedly, to diagnose the neighbors of contagion by Coronavirus.
Due to the state of alarm decreed by the Government that requires home confinement from the citizens, some of the neighbors lent themselves to such practices, believing that this was home care provided by public health.
Recently, the investigation has ended when the agents have located her on a street in the aforementioned municipality, alleging that she was trying to help the residents of her town, being elusive and trying to avoid her identification repeatedly and angrily, disobeying the requirements of the civil guards.
The police intervention has culminated in her arrest as the alleged author of the crimes of professional intrusion and serious disobedience to law enforcement officers.
The 34-year-old arrested woman, a Spanish national and a neighbor of Los Nietos-Cartagena, together with the investigative measures, has been placed at the disposal of the Investigating Court of Cartagena.
