Since the declaration of a pandemic caused by COVID-19 and the proclamation by the Government of the Nation of the state of alarm in Spain, various measures have been adopted to take care of the health of all Spaniards, although the Government has forgotten who Together with our health workers, farmers or transporters, they protect us and are containing the virus: The State Security Forces and Bodies and the Local Police.
These heroes return to their homes day after day without rest, not knowing if they are infected because they are asymptomatic, which poses a danger to the people around them and we must solve them.
From the Municipal Group VOX Cartagena we have collected the express request of several members of the Local Police Corps and it is our duty as patriots to transfer their need to this City Council.
Given that protection for all these workers came late and is still scarce, it is a priority to approve these VOX proposals and that they be executed immediately:
- That the City Council make available to both our FFCCSE deployed in Cartagena and the Local Police, free hotel rooms for all those who believe that they may be infected.
- That they can stay in these rooms until they are tested and negative results are obtained and they can return to their families.
- That during said voluntary quarantine they be provided with the necessary diets and medical attention if needed.
- That their families are informed at all times of the health status of the affected person.
It is time to join efforts and optimize the available resources and from VOX Cartagena we commit ourselves to it.
