Luis Lozano, a member of the PP, and María Dolores Díaz, a member of Ciudadanos, will alternate in the presidency of the Neighborhood Board of Isla Plana-La Azohía, which was set up on Thursday, November 28.

Lozano was elected in the second round by simple majority, with four votes in favor, while three votes were for the PSOE candidacy, one for MC Cartagena and one for Vox.

Prior to the election of president, the nine members of this neighborhood board swore or promised their positions.

For the Popular Party, Evaristo Torres Torres, Ginés González Cava and Luis Lozano Uribes;

by the PSOE, Juan Carlos Casanova Raja and Juan Manuel González Saura;

by Citizens, María Dolores Díaz Ferrer;

by MC Cartagena, Pedro Ginés Celdrán Martínez;

by Vox, Luis Javier Carles Hernández;

and by United We Can IU Equo, María Luisa Reyes Costa.

Luis Lozano will chair the meeting for the first two years, after the agreement reached between the members of PP and Citizens, and the other two years will preside over María Dolores Díaz.

The act of inauguration was attended by councilors of the government and the municipal corporation, among which were Noelia Arroyo, Manuel Padín, María Casajús, Crisitna Mora, Cristina Peréz, José López, Isabel García, Enrique Pérez, Pilar Marcos and Gonzalo Abad .
