In addition, there were the councilors of the municipal corporation, José López and Isabel García.

The vice mayor of Cartagena, Noelia Arroyo, said that “the city competes internationally in historical heritage and on the coast.

They constitute the offer that makes us different, the one that has allowed us to grow as a destination.

In them we are obliged to dump our promotional efforts, but no tourist destination can be considered complete without quality hospitality.

And Cartagena has it.

That is why the Cartagena bars and restaurants make up a whole with our monuments and our beaches, integrate a unique offer and are and will be present in our promotional programs. â€

In addition, he pointed out that "the hoteliers are the first line of tourism, the showcase of a city, the dynamism and are a great source of employment."

Following this, Noelia Arroyo publicly thanked the sense of responsibility and willingness to understand that Hostecar and its directive are demonstrating in the goal of coexistence between the necessary hotel activity and the rest of the neighbors because “the coordinated work and the Willingness of agreement that we have achieved is the only way to advance in its solution â€.

Arroyo also stressed that the transfer to Cartagena of the Ministry of Tourism aims to "bring the center of regional tourism decisions to the region that concentrates the tourism force of the Region so that the councilor knows the needs of the sector and the enormous growth possibilities that the Cartagena tourism sector can provide if it has the support it deserves in training, in tourism policies and, especially, in promotion â€.

The Santa Marta Awards recognize the effort and work of those professionals, organizations and institutions that contribute to the development, promotion and image of the hospitality and tourism of Cartagena and its Region.

During the Santa Marta awards gala, Noelia Arroyo congratulated the restaurant for the award “María and Adrián have done a formidable job, but they have to be generous and let all of us, all Cartagena and, especially, all hoteliers from Cartagena, let's share the pride of that distinction.

It has been excellent news that will help the whole world know what we already knew, that in Cartagena there is an elite kitchen that adds another reason for travelers from all over to come to enjoy our land. â€
