On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November, Cartagena brought together more than 700 young people between 14 and 17 years old at the Interscultas event.
Representatives of the 32 groups of scouts that make up the Federation of Explorers of Murcia came.
The activities were held in the Parque del Estadio Municipal Cartagonova.
This appointment has the collaboration of the Department of Youth of the City of Cartagena.
On Saturday, November 9, the City Games were held, in which the participants had 16 different locations, within the port city, where they will develop a Gymkana.
On Sunday, November 10, two performances took place.
The cleaning of the Rambla de Benipila, from the round of the Colegio San Vicente de Paúl to the immediate vicinity of the Barrio de la Concepción bridge, as well as the Reforestation of the Castillo de los Moros with the CreeCt Association.
Among its activities were those of the environment, taking into account the objectives of sustainable development (SDG).
13. Adopt urgent measures to combat climate change and its effects.
15. Promote the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, fight desertification, stop and reverse land degradation and curb the loss of biological diversity.
The City Council of Cartagena, which also bets on the fulfillment of the 17 SDGs, has collaborated with the scouts on all those issues they have needed through their Youth, Infrastructure and Citizen Security Department.
The Scout Federation of Scouts of Murcia, which has more than 4,000 members, aims to provide comprehensive training for children and young people through a system of progressive self-education, performing different activities always in continuous contact with nature.
