From Monday October 28 until Thursday October 31, the Local Police of Cartagena carried out a new campaign of surveillance and control of vans in different parts of the city in which a total of 1182 vehicles were controlled.
The objective of these campaigns, under the direction of the General Directorate of Traffic, is to guarantee the correct compliance with the safety regulations at the wheel and, therefore, the Road Safety Law, especially controlling the consumption of alcohol and drugs, as well such as merchandise and cargo in this means of transport, without complaints in these areas.
The speed control was also carried out, leaving as a result a total of 10 fines in this aspect of the more than one thousand vehicles monitored.
