The Huertecica Collective is studying the expansion of programs aimed at preventing addictions, as explained by its president, Diego Cruzado, to the vice mayor and councilor of the Area of ​​Social Services and Sports, Noelia Arroyo, this morning during a visit in the one that Crusader has been accompanied by other people in charge of the collective.
The group already carries out work to prevent addictive behaviors in a program that has funding from the City of Cartagena, but those responsible consider it necessary to reinforce that program that is developed in educational settings and with families and is very useful for detection and control early problems that may lead to dependencies.
During the contact, the situation of the programs that La Huertecica develops with the support of the City Council has been reviewed, such as the attention in the Meeting and Reception Centers, in which immediate socio-health care is developed, and the Labor Insertion programs developed in the Center at daytime.
