Camp Festero is now ready to welcome all attendees in a safe way (19/09/2019)

The Camp of Carthaginians and Romans is practically ready.

The facilities, lighting and booths are prepared for the kick-off of the celebrations, which will begin this Friday, September 20, and that will transport Cartagena to one of the most symbolic moments in its history.

The security and universal accessibility of the enclosure, with ramps for people with reduced mobility in all the booths, are the hallmarks this year of the epicenter of the festive activity of these days.

The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, the mayor of Citizen Security, Public Road and Celebrations Juan Pedro Torralba, the councilor for Infrastructure and mayor delegate of Festejos María Casajús and the president of the Federation of Troops and Legions of Carthaginians and Romans José Antonio Mecca have visited the festive camp this Thursday, September 19.

The booths are already prepared for the access of all the public, since all will have ramps for the entry and exit of people with reduced mobility.

In addition, its facades and interiors have been renovated to renew its image for the thirtieth edition of the festivals, declared of International Tourist Interest.

Local Police and Firefighters of Cartagena are finalized and checking all the details to preserve the safety of those attending the site.
