The I Tournament Algar SurMenor will honor those affected by the cold drop of riverside municipalities (19/09/2019)

The Algar School Pavilion hosts this Saturday, September 21, the first edition of the Algar Sur Menor Tournament.

A sports and solidarity activity organized by the local team, in collaboration with the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena.

Details about this event have been offered at the press conference held on the morning of this Thursday, September 19 and has been attended by the Vice Mayor of Cartagena and Councilor for Sports, Noelia Arroyo, the general director of the Hermanos Sánchez Foundation -Luengo, Victoriano Campos, the captain of the Algar SurMenor, Míriam López, and the technical director of Marketing of the Foundation and the charity gala, Ernesto Vilches.

The vice mayor, Noelia Arroyo, recalled that "the Algar Sur Menor is the only regional club that will play in the Iberdrola League, offering fans, as they have always done, games to suffer and enjoy."

This tournament will start at 12:30 pm with the first match between Algar Surmenor and Madrid Chamberí and then, in the afternoon, at 5:30 pm, the women's team will play against Volley Kiele Socuellanos and end with the dispute, at 7:30 p.m., from the local team against the team from the town of Socuellamos, in Ciudad Real.

The captain of the Algar Sur Menor, Míriam López, who is going to play this tournament before starting the league, has indicated that “being in the top league is the reward of 30 years of effort and that although it will be a difficult year we will Work hard to stay in the competition. ”

Although admission is free, attendees can collaborate by making donations.

According to the general director of the Hermanos Sánchez-Luengo Foundation, Victoriano Campos, part of the collection will go to “those affected by the cold drop of the riverside municipalities”.

BENEFIT GALA 'VOLEY FEST'

The Algar Sur Menor women's team and the Hermanos Sánchez-Luengo Foundation have organized a charity gala to raise funds for those affected by the DANA storm and also to take forward the club itself, an event that will be held on Friday, October 11, at 20:30 hours, at the Teatro Apolo Circus El Algar.

The concert will be presented by journalists from the 7 Region of Murcia María Pina and Ă“scar Cervantes.

Tickets, ranging from 25 to 100 euros, can be purchased at the box office and on the website www.teatrocircoapoloelalgar.es.

The technical director of Marketing of the Foundation and the charity gala, Ernesto Vilches, has pointed out that the artists who are going to act are “first order and are filling the rooms throughout Spain”.

Attendees can enjoy a cocktail while listening to the best music and the best songs of Ayoho, Diego Martín, Unconditional ILM, Los Recortables, David Andreu, Gmetrica, Aa Mamá and the Ballet of the Víctor Campos Dance Academy.
